About Ashwatha Pradakshina

Ashwatha Pradakshina is a sacred consecration/abhisheka ritual sacred circumambulation of the ashwatha (peepal) tree. A traditional sankalpa-driven pradakshina of the sacred Ashwatha (peepal) tree, performed for marriage progress, progeny, and removal of severe doshas. The ritual establishes the living presence of the deity through specific abhisheka dravya, mantras, and homa. Gopuja arranges Agama-trained Vaidika pandits in Bangalore for the complete Ashwatha Pradakshina with traditional procedure.

📅 When to perform

Ashwatha Pradakshina is performed in a carefully selected muhurta with consideration of nakshatra, tithi, and the deity's preferred kala. Pratishta rituals especially require Uttarayana months and morning lagnas, our Agama-shastris confirm the muhurta after chart and site inspection.
