Dusta Nakshatra Janana Shanti is the prescribed Vedic remedy when a child is born under certain nakshatras considered adverse for the child, family, or relatives as per Jyotisha Shastra. These include Moola (afflictive to father-in-law), Ashlesha (afflictive to mother-in-law), Jyeshtha (afflictive to elder brother), Revati gandanta, Ashlesha gandanta, and Moola gandanta (dangerous junctions between lunar mansions).
