What is Purusha-Charana and koti-japa?
Purusha-Charana is a precise count of japa — for each mantra, the shastra specifies a count like 1 lakh or 1 crore. Koti-japa is 1 crore (10 million). We arrange teams of pandits for these larger undertakings.
Should japa end with a homa?
Classical shastra prescribes a Purnahuti Homa at the end — 1/10 of the japa count as homa ahutis. This seals the japa energy. We always include this in our packages.
