About Lakshmi Puja
Lakshmi Puja is performed to invite and honor Goddess Lakshmi · the divine embodiment of wealth, prosperity, beauty, grace, and abundance. She is Vishnu's consort and her blessings are essential for material well-being and spiritual prosperity. This puja is performed in homes and businesses on Fridays, during Diwali, Varamahalakshmi Vrata, and Kojagara Purnima.
When to perform it
Every Friday (Shukravar), Diwali (Lakshmi Puja day), Varamahalakshmi Vrata (Shravan Friday), Dhanteras, or whenever financial abundance and prosperity are sought.
The South Indian procedure
