About Naga Pratishta
Naga Pratishta is a sacred consecration/abhisheka ritual consecration of a naga shrine / installation for sarpa-doshas. A traditional consecration of a Naga shrine or installation at home/community — performed for removal of Sarpa-doshas, family welfare, and progeny. The ritual establishes the living presence of the deity through specific abhisheka dravya, mantras, and homa. Gopuja arranges Agama-trained Vaidika pandits in Bangalore for the complete Naga Pratishta with traditional procedure.
When to Perform
Naga Pratishta is performed in a carefully selected muhurta with consideration of nakshatra, tithi, and the deity's preferred kala. Pratishta rituals especially require Uttarayana months and morning lagnas — our Agama-shastris confirm the muhurta after chart and site inspection.
