Diwali Lakshmi Puja is the most commercially significant Hindu festival and arguably the most important puja of the calendar year for invoking prosperity. In Bangalore — with its mix of South Indian, Marwari, Gujarati, and North Indian families — Diwali is celebrated with regional nuances but a shared goal: inviting Mahalakshmi and Kubera into the home.

What to Prepare

- Decorate the entrance with torans, rangoli, and marigold strings
- Set up an altar — north or east facing, elevated platform covered with red cloth
- Keep the puja items ready — or let our kit delivery handle it

South Indian vs North Indian Diwali Puja
North Indian families emphasize Lakshmi-Kubera together with elaborate Aarti. South Indian families (especially Tamil/Telugu) focus on Naraka Chaturdashi oil bath and Lakshmi Kubera Puja on the same or following evening. Both are authentic — our Diwali Lakshmi Kubera Puja service accommodates either tradition.
