About the temple
A 65-foot Shiva statue and a 12 jyotirlinga walk. Open late, very busy on Shivaratri.
Shivoham Shiva Temple on Old Airport Road opened in 1995. It is known for its 65-foot white Shiva statue seated in meditation, set against a backdrop of the Himalayas, and a large Ganesha image.
Visitors can walk past replicas of the twelve jyotirlingas and take part in the evening aarti. It stays open late and is one of the busiest places in the city on Maha Shivaratri.
Bring the blessings home
Devotees of Lord Shiva often follow a temple visit with a puja at home. A Gopuja pandit brings the full samagri kit and performs it with the same Vedic vidhi.
