Ghati Subramanya, near Doddaballapura, is one of the most important Subramanya kshetras in Karnataka. Its main idol is a single stone with Subramanya, in the form of a seven-hooded serpent, facing east and Lord Narasimha facing west. A mirror lets devotees see Narasimha.
It is a major pilgrimage for relief from sarpa dosha and for childless couples. The rathotsava on Pushya Shuddha Shashti draws huge crowds.
